Driver CPC The European Parliament and Council are introducing compulsory training known as Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Driver CPC regulations will apply to new drivers acquiring a pcv licence from September 2008 and for drivers acquiring a lgv licence from September 2009. Those who already hold a vocational licence before those dates will be given acquired (grandfather) rights, however all drivers must complete 35 hours periodic training every five years.
